House Fresh Cleaning: Eleven City Pages That Are Not Copies of Each Other

A residential cleaning business in Cobb County. Eleven city pages each built on a different local argument, a real About page, countable leads, and a critical security hole found and removed along the way.

The situation

Real Coverage, No Pages to Prove It

House Fresh Cleaning was already serving customers across Cobb County and beyond, with repeat clients in a dozen communities. What it did not have was a single page for any of them.

That is an extremely common gap. The business genuinely covers the area, but as far as a search engine is concerned, a business with no page about Kennesaw has said nothing about Kennesaw.

The obvious fix is also the wrong one: write a page, then swap the city name eleven times. That produces what Google calls doorway pages, and it has been devalued for years.

The approach

Every City Page Argues Something Only True There

Each of the eleven pages was written around a real local characteristic. Not a different adjective — a different subject.

  • East Cobb is about square footage and what large homes do to a cleaning estimate.
  • Kennesaw is about the university calendar and move-out season.
  • Acworth is about lake sand and what it does to floors.
  • Vinings is about building access, elevator reservations and loading docks.
  • Smyrna is about deadlines and short-notice turnarounds.
  • Powder Springs is about being honest on price rather than pretending everyone wants premium.
  • Mableton is about being Georgia’s newest city and what that means for its housing stock.
  • Austell is about the Six Flags season and how it changes the calendar.
  • Woodstock is about new construction in Cherokee County and post-build cleaning.
  • West Cobb is about newer subdivisions and the surfaces they use.
  • Sandy Springs is about four distinct housing types in one city.

Writing eleven genuinely different pages takes far longer than writing one and replacing a word. It is also the only version that has a chance of ranking.

The build

What Else Went In

An areas-we-serve hub

One page linking every city page, so the eleven are connected to each other and to the homepage instead of floating unlinked.

A real About page

Founded 2022, named owners, background-checked cleaners, never more than two people in a home. Specific claims a competitor cannot copy without lying.

A thank-you page

So a submitted form becomes a countable lead instead of an email that may or may not have arrived.

A form built into the site

Same questions as the old one, no plugin underneath it, no photo upload because this business does not need one.

Existing blog posts expanded

The thin posts were rewritten to actually answer the question in the title rather than gesture at it.

The part nobody plans for

We Found a Critical Vulnerability Mid-Project

While auditing the site we found that the installed form plugin carried a critical vulnerability rated 8.1 out of 10: an unauthenticated attacker could upload arbitrary files, which is the shortest path there is to running code on the server. No login required. No customer interaction required.

What we did about it

  • Exported all 50 existing form entries to two formats first, so no customer record was lost.
  • Deactivated and deleted every affected plugin rather than waiting on an update.
  • Replaced it with a form built directly into the site, asking the same questions.
  • Verified every page still loaded correctly afterwards.

The uncomfortable part is that the site had been running that way, quietly, for a while. Nothing about the front end looked wrong. This is the sort of thing that only surfaces when somebody actually looks.

Where it stands

Producing Organic Leads

The site is live at housefreshcleaning.com, producing organic leads, with every one of them countable because the thank-you page went in at the start rather than as an afterthought.

See the same playbook applied to a carpet cleaning business and to an appliance repair business.

Frequently Asked Questions

Because a list of city names ranks for nothing. A page that argues something specific to that city can rank for that city. The catch is that it only works if the page is genuinely different, which is why each of the eleven makes a different argument.

It is a set of near-identical pages made only to capture different search terms, usually by swapping a city name. Google has devalued that pattern for years. Writing eleven genuinely different pages is slower and it is the only version that works.

A critical vulnerability in the form plugin the site was using, rated 8.1 out of 10, that allowed an unauthenticated attacker to upload arbitrary files and potentially take over the server. We exported every existing entry first, then removed the plugin entirely and replaced it with a form built into the site.
